Testimonials

Hear from Our Satisfied Clients

“Leila supported our son for a term while he attended an alternative provision, helping him prepare for reintegration into formal schooling. Her calm, kind approach and engaging resources made learning fun and empowering for him. Leila’s use of outdoor spaces and her deep understanding of this pupil group really stood out. The detailed weekly session reports kept us informed, and her realistic targets helped guide his progress. Thanks to her dedication, our son is now thriving in his new school environment. We are truly grateful for the positive impact she had on his learning journey.”

“We cannot thank Leila enough for the incredible support she provided during our child’s time at Calm Learning. Over the term, we saw our child thrive, particularly enjoying the trips to Moors Valley. Leila helped build the confidence needed to transition to a new specialist school after being out of school for nine months. We will truly miss her!”

“Before starting with Leila, our child struggled with a lot of anger stemming from their trauma in mainstream school and had lost belief in their own abilities, labeling themselves as ‘naughty’ and ‘stupid.’ Initially resistant to tutoring, they soon grew to love the sessions. Leila helped build their confidence in academic skills and supported them in catching up on what had been missed during their time out of school. The transformation in their attitude over six months was incredible, and they are now thriving in their specialist school. We really appreciated the weekly summaries that Leila sent over as it gave us a good picture of what was happening in each session.”

“We are incredibly grateful for Leila’s professionalism and the hard work she put into supporting one of our pupils over the last term. She has significantly improved their attainment, supporting them with their EHCP targets ad equipping them with the skills to transition back into a whole-class setting. Remarkably, they also passed their phonics screening check, which we weren’t sure was possible! We look forward to working with Leila again in the future.”
